Dear
Geocachers,
We liked the
cache,
Still On
Patrol, so much
that we thought we would try something similar (but much easier).
We have used different types of ciphers and also a different type
of research. We hope you enjoy the experience. There are places
where you can shortcut the adventure or you can take the time to
learn all about TRANSLTR. You will uncover the key to the first two
ciphers rather quickly. The research will take you far longer than
the relatively short walk to the final cache. This may be a good
cache to start on a rainy day. As you embark on your task, remember
what the Bergofsky Principle says!

you do not want to decode it in advance. As always, if you need
encouragement or hints, contact us through our profile. If you want
to check that you are heading to the right place, feel free to
email us before you go. Please help us to keep this cache
challenging by not giving away any part of it in your log entries.
Thanks!
Note: The coordinates listed above
belong to an archived cache of ours. They are for reference only.
The actual TRANSLTR Cache is located within an 8 mile radius of the
old cache. That puts it in an area roughly bordered by Waltham,
Norwood, Milton and Natick.
This area is open in the winter but the cache will be difficult
to find after a heavy snowfall.
