Geocache Description:

Handicap accessible micro cache . . .

"Greensboro's Bog Garden"

This cache is located on Hobbs Road in Greensboro, NC just across the street from the Bicentennial Garden.

Parking and restroom facilities can be found at N 36 05.591 W 079 50.493. Handicapped persons in a wheelchair or scooter can access the cache area, however they may need assistance in actually reaching the cache itself. The cache is a large bison tube, so bring your own pen to sign the log.

It's just a short walk to the cache.

The natural beauty of this swampy area has been developed into a striking exhibit that features a half-mile elevated wooden walkway providing easy access through the garden.

Various trees, wildflowers, shrubs, ferns and other wetland plants can be examined as you stroll through the grounds.

The wooden walkway also follows along a creek which flows into a small pond. Here you will see Mallard ducks and Canadian geese.

The cache will be found along this walkway, just follow your GPS unit and enjoy the wonderful scenery along the way. Have Fun...........
