This cache is located in a nice community park that is constantly being expanded and developed. Parking is not a problem. Depending on the day of the week, you can find runners, bikers, skateboarders, rollerbladers, families, and all varieties of dogs being walked by their attentive owners. Most of the hike to this cache is on a classic park path. The final portion entails some uneven terrain and should provide just enough challenge to make it interesting!
We are very excited to have our first cache ready to be discovered...but we hope by fellow Geocachers and not "passers by." Given the potential for "activity" in the area, you should have a heightened sense of awareness as you prepare to zero in on the cache location. Once at the cache, you should feel fairly secure and well hidden...but stealth should still be employed.You are looking for a medium-sized ammo container that is camouflaged to blend into its surroundings. Please be sure and replace it exactly as you find it...this is important to keep the desired difficulty level.
Do to Muggle activity around the old location I’ve moved the ammo can out of the sink. I hope the new location and camo will help the new 30mm ammo can stick around as long as or longer than its predecessor.
Please put the ammo can back as you found it or better.
