It is a little less than 1 mile roundtrip to the cache. The cache is located about 20 feet from the trail. The path is mowed but there are a lot of stickers on the way.
You are looking for a 7 x 2.5in pvc pipe. It is colored to help it blend in with the surroundings. There is a logbook, pencil, and some small trade items. After you find the cache continue down the trail to the lake and you will see why I named it Mussel Beach. This area is run by the Oklahoma City Parks Department and the ODWC. Hours are 6AM to 10PM.
***When this cache was originally placed in 2004 this area was not open to motorized vehicle traffic. Now instead of a nice mowed walking trail there is a badly rutted road. If you must drive back here please do it when the roads are dry to avoid any futher damage.***
