Geocache Description:

The full title of this event cache is RCGDS November Potluck...Let's Celebrate National Indian Pudding Day! Join us on Saturday, November 13th, 6:30pm at the Social Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Roseville, 109 Washington Blvd. The above coordinates are for the Social Hall entrance at the rear of the church off the parking lot. Even if you have been caching all day and not concocting a gastronomic delight in the comfort of your kitchen, pick up something along the way and join us for an evening of feasting and great conversation (as it is a church hall, no alcohol is allowed...sorry)

Doing some research on food and holidays, we came across a website for Bizarre American Holidays. November 13th is National Indian Pudding Day, so in honor of that, Team ErSamin will be providing Indian pudding (along with beverages) for the potluck.

For those of you that miss our days of meeting in pizza parlors, you can claim you thought it was Friday and bring a pizza in honor of November 12th, (National Pizza With the Works Except Anchovies Day). Other good food days in November are National Deviled Egg Day, Sandwich Day, National Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day, National Cashew Day and National Parfait Day. Less appreciated food holidays during the month are National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day and Use Even if Seal is Broken Day. Just bring something you like and I'm sure we will find a holiday for it!

Please try to RSVP with an idea of what you are bringing, so that others will have an idea of what else we will need to round out the menu. (Just don't pretend that it is National Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor's Porch Night [August 8th] )

Whether for you it is September 5th (Be Late For Something Day) or September 6th (Fight Procrastination Day) [huh?], we hope to see you there!
