Geocache Description:

Located just off road to Stoneman Lake.Take I-17 north past the Sedona/Oakcreek turnoff (approx. 10 miles or so) to Stoneman Lake Rd. exit (Highway 462) and head east to Stoneman Lake and follow signs to lake.

Cache is a plastic food container with a blue-green top with an assortment of trade items and log. Park in the tiny unimproved picnic area on the right, just after the short narrow "bridge". Take time to see the lake and if you have time, continue east on Stoneman Lake Rd. to highway 487 then north toward Mormon Lake and the back road to Flagstaff, for a nice drive through the forest. Watch for elk.
