"Greensboro's Bicentennial Garden"
This cache is located in the Bicentennial Gardens located between Holden Road and Hobbs Road in Greensboro, NC.
Parking and restroom facilities can be found at N 36 05.591 W 079 50.493. Handicapped persons in a wheelchair or scooter can access the cache area, however they may need assistance in actually reaching the cache itself. The cache is a bison tube, so bring your own pen to sign the log.
Bicentennial Garden features 7.5 acres of walking paths through seven formal gardens including rock, rose and fragrance gardens.
Various trees, wildflowers, shrubs, ferns and other flowering plants can be examined as you stroll through the groomed gardens.
The paved walkways wind through the gardens with many park benches placed in scenic areas along the way. The gardens have become a favorite place in Greensboro for outdoor weddings.
The cache will be found along one of the many walkways, just follow your GPS unit and enjoy the wonderful scenery along the way.
