Geocache Description:

A short stroll identifying trees along the way to solve the puzzle! Please remember that tree identification is harder in the winter than in the summer.

This puzzle cache is set in the Harlestone Firs.
Parking is opposite the entrance, which is the co-ordinates listed above, and on the A428.
It is a short walk, on firm footpaths, wheelchair and buggy accessible, although may be slightly muddy in the rain.

Once in the forest, locate the trees in the following places:
tree number 3:
N 52 15.945
W000 57.428

tree number 4:
N 52 15.968
W000 57.222

tree number 5:
N 52 16.059
W000 57.080

tree number 6:
N 52 16.074
W000 57.134

to find the cache itself, substitute the tree numbers for their names in:

N 52 1(hawthorn).0(oak)2
W 000 57.2(sweet chestnut)(sycamore)

You shouldn't have to leave the main path (except for a slightly less good path to the final cache location), and all locations should not have overhead tree cover.

All the trees only have fir trees, or their own species near them, so it should be easy to find the tree you're supposed to be looking at.

Found this easy? Northampton Tree Trail (hard) is slightly more challenging.
