Geocache Description:

Up Fairview Canyon on State Route 31 to the Skyline Trail. Follow the Skyline Trail for about 3 miles (don’t rely too much on the mileage, I guessed) to a right handed turn out. Park in the turn out and start the hunt. Remember to breath deep, the air is thin at 10,100 feet! In the dry season a high clearance 2-wheel drive truck can drive the trail. If it’s wet, you’ll need 4-wheel drive. If it’s snowy, don’t try. Come back another time.

Welcome to the ‘View from the Sky” This cache was planted on September 25, 2004 - a beautiful fall day. Once you get there, find a rock to sit on and catch your breath. Enjoy the incredible views. If you are lucky enough to visit this cache in the fall, the colors are spectacular! Firstly – Enjoy creation and know there is a God. Secondly, you may be sitting over the top of the cache. The cache is an ammunition can stashed in a pocket created by a jumble of fallen yellow rocks. Be careful!!! Once you leave the Skyline Trail, the terrain is extremely steep and rugged.

The can is stuffed with treasures! The original contents include:
Dori (Blue Fish) the Travel Bug (No. 437508)
Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Pin in an unopened package
New Christian Bible Study
Pocket Knife
Invisible Man Book
Bracelet and Shell Necklace
Rubik’s Cube
Sunglasses
Yu-Gi-O Cards
Betty Boop Air Freshener
Dinosaur Toys
