This cache is located off the main road, but near to a county road. You will have to walk to this cache. You will have to walk up a slope, otherwise, it is easy to get to the site. You don't need to cross any fences to get to this cache.
The site for this cache is an old homestead farm from the early 1900s. You can see the last standing building. South-east there is a grass covered dugout spot where there used to be a barn for the farm. Use your imagination as you look north and east to vision what was a sheep ranch. There was a mine south-east of the house that was used to get the flat rock to make the buildings. North-east of the site, you will see a house which is made out of flat rock. North and east from the site, there are still ground level remnants of the out building foundations. You will need to park along the road and walk a couple hundred yards to where the cache is located. There is no need to cross any fences to find it. When you find the cache, please put it back just as you found it.You're looking for an ammo box. The stash contains a Slinky(The real thing), 2 Hot Wheels Cars, 4 decks of mini Uno cards, 2 Phat Cars, 2 Quarters, a penny and a mini Scare Crow.Things to do while visiting the cache. Since weather is important to homesteaders and ranchers, we request that you record the temperature and time when you log your visit in the log book. If you are also so inclined, record current conditions. (Cloudy, windy, etc...). We have included a thermometer in the log book for you to obtain a temperature reading.
NOTE: Please do not go inside the building. It is not safe to enter. The cach is not inside.
