Hike to the Cove - Stage 9 - On the Hill
OK - We finally got to the cove. Weather was great when we got there today - hardly any wind - nice view - On October 2, 2004, there was high winds and the waves were really crashing in. This is a very nice sandy beach, but the water is cold, year-round.
The cache is located on the hill to the west. You have to walk along the shore on the rocks, then on the driftwood. Be careful!! It can be slippery on the rocks and driftwood if it is wet from raining or the waves crashing in. Climb the hill to the cache.
