This cache is located at a wayside that is only open during the day time.
This bridge was built by The State of Florida in 1934. It was originally named the Benjamin Chaires Bridge in honor of a prominent pioneer settler of Dixie County. When the bridge was completed residents from surrounding areas were so jubilant that they staged a square dance on the bridge to celebrate the occasion. Bring a pen to sign log.
