This cache is located off of a set of little-known trails in the town of Lockport, NY, right near the town of Pendleton. Portions of the trails run next to the Erie Canal. They're used by hikers, ATV's, and mountain bikers alike.There is a parking area near the intersection of Lockport and Bear Ridge Road. Going east on Lockport Road, the parking area will be on your left side directly after you cross over the Erie Canal. Park at N43*07.995/W078*43.473 to access the trails.You can expect a lot of mud and a bit of climbing on this cache adventure. You'll understand the name of the cache when you see the trails :) The find itself isn't too hard, but the terrain should make for a challenging hike. The entire hike is approx. 2 miles. We thought the hiding area was pretty cool and hope you do as well.Cache is a .50 cal ammo box.
