Easy cache. Convenient freeway access.
This is a lovely new park that is well groomed and strategically
located, but it is rarely ever used by anyone. I think I was the
first person to actually have a picnic here. Its a pleasant place
with an electrifying view. A nice, paved hiking trail runs from a
small lake, past rolling hills that are covered with rhoddys and
small trees. Heron, ducks and geese frequent the lake and nearby
stream. The lawn is always immaculate. Having no playground or play
equipment, I guess you would have to say that this park is not "kid
friendly." Nix on pets unless they are firmly on a lease. Hiking,
biking, and sight seeing are the attraction.
The picnic area faces a mountain view that is always visible, and
on a clear day there is a good view of Mt. St. Helens from the
hiking trail. The small but adequate parking area is easily
accessible from the main road.
If you go to this cache, try to work in a picnic and be sure to
mention it in your cache report. Also mention any wildlife that you
may see.
In Chirpz tradition, this cache is pretty much right out in the
open. If you find this cache, grasp the container by the top and
gently lift it straight up to remove it. Then you can rotate the
lid counter clockwise a small amount to open it.
For the clue, find one word that works equally well in each
blank.
