About a quarter of a mile from the interstate. Be sure to be real careful when crossing the railroad tracks and obey the signals and do not try to beat the train across the tracks. You will not win. Good dirt road and short hike behind the stage station.
This is a beautifully restored Stage Station from Ben Holliday's Overland stage route. Built from native sandstone in about 1862. It also served as a Wells Fargo station when they purchased it from Holliday. It has also served as a freight station, a store, a school, a ranch headquarters, and a home.
