Geocache Description:

A nice short hike from Mill Creek Trailhead parking lot. Cache is hidden in a rock cairn.

This is a memorial cache dedicated to our dog, Shadow, who we lost to cancer on 9/3/04. It is also dedicated to pets everywhere who enrich our lives. The cache is an ammo can and contains logbook, pencil (please be sure to sign in), and miscellaneous items taken from other caches while Shadow and his sister, Raven, were with us. This is our first cache that we have placed and we hope that others enjoy it as much as we have. The grove that you pass through was one of Shadow's favorite areas to explore before starting up the trail. The above coordinates were taken several times and are as close as we could get them. Please let us know if they are to far off.
