Geocache Description:

This cache is situated above an altitude of 649m and requires some effort to get to over difficult terrain

This cache is situated between Dow Crag and Coniston Old Man in South Cumbria. It can be approached from a number of directions.I parked the car at the begining of the Walna Scar Road and walked to Goats Hawse via Goats Water.From the cache you have great views across to Harter Fell and Seathwaite Tarn.Full hill walking gear and strong boots required.Not recommended in bad weather.I made it in to a 4hr walk taking in Swirl How
