Geocache Description:

I WILL DELETE ANY SPOILERS/PICTURES THAT INDICATE WHAT THE ARTWORKS/MONUMENTS ARE OR INDICATE WHERE THE CACHE IS LOCATED or OF THE CONTAINER. BYOP

All of the waypoints can be accessed by someone with limited mobility except waypoint 11.

Parking, snow depth, and location may make this cache inaccessible in the winter.

By parking at the above coordinates, you can walk to waypoints 1-6 in less than an hour. This route will take you through residential and business areas of town. You probably will want to drive to waypoints 7-9

WAYPOINT 1: The coordinates above will take you to Whiteside Park. Mr Whiteside, who had considerable land holdings and commercial interests in the city, donated the land for this park after he made sure it held no valuable minerals underneath the surface. At the time it was a cranberry bog. When it was filled in for the park, the elderly ladies would pick dandelion greens in the early spring for salads and later on the blooms for wine. The local kids were not allowed to play ball in the area until the picking season was over, and the kids respected that rule set by their parents. The artwork you will see was a fountain/pond. “Unknowns” repeatedly dumped soap into the pond, so it was filled in and the fountain disconnected.
