This cache is at the Furnace Brook - Middle River Watershed, flood prevention dam. The Dam was built in 1962 part of the flood protection act.This is a good cache for the little ones, as it was my two girls who picked the spot, and most of the cache contents.There is parking for one car at the dam marker and a parking lot just up the street.This is being logged as a subscriber only cache for the first few weeks to encourage others to contribute to Groundspeak so the services can continue to improve. Time's up it's open to everyone.
