The tennis ball can went missing, so the cache is now a magnetic film can. This one is near a little lake that you probably wouldn't know about unless you live or work in the neighborhood. The Country Club, and Lake Cascade are both private property, as are the houses across the street (of course).
What is there around here that isn't private? Well, at least the street is public. The cache is reachable without leaving the street, and in fact, it's hidden behind an old piece of some forgotten street.
Why would I call this place something to do? It can be a nice walk to go around the lake, especially on a nice fall day under a light drizzle. There is a little change in elevation, but it's only steep if you go clockwise. The walk around is just under one mile, and takes me about 25 minutes at a relaxed pace (including time spent meeting friendly neighborhood pets, marveling at giant spider webs, and watching the ducks fly in).
Keep in mind if you take the loop, that it IS a street and sometimes a car comes by, but this area is quiet enough that you can hear them coming.
Please do not park in any driveways or the Country Club parking lot, there are turnouts beside the Lake.
