This cache is along a beautiful stream, in the Jefferson National Forest. Expect a hike of apprx. 45 minutes, up hill grade of 10-15 degrees. In the winter and even late spring you can find beautiful 4-5 ft. icicles at the falls.
This small ammo box cache contains misc. items. Next time we visit this area I will leave a Clay Aiken video cd in it for any of his fans find this cache. There's plenty of cold water in this stream year round, so its a good stop for lunch. Keep your eye out for deer and turkey. Please take an item and leave one for the next finder. If you want to look for another cache in the vicinity, check out another cache we hide several miles away, called Roaring water, another beautiful site much easier to reach actually.
This cache will be visited regularly by a relative who lives close by on Shapiro trail, just to the east of this cache.
