Another view cache - this one close to DIA.
An easy, small drive by cache near DIA that should be no problem to
find. From the cache site you can watch the goings on at DIA and on
a clear day you can see downtown and the entire front range.
If you want to avoid paying C-470 tolls, you can get to the cache
by taking the dirt road at 64th and Argonne. There are no signs but
it is at N 39.48.769 and W 104.46.180. The two mile trip can be
made with a mini-van as long as the road is dry. If the road is wet
it will be muddy and you may need both a 4x4 and high
clearance.
Cache is a small container - a camoed coffee creamer jar. It has a
log book and a pencil and pen but I would recommend bringing a
writing utensil just in case. I included the following items for
trade: A cow, key chain, Columbine pin, Class of 1975 thingy, two
flat marbles and the required whistle.
