Dam Good Geocache Traditional Cache
ho'ohuli: I am archiving this cache for Yellow Bug who has passed on to the Big Geocache. I have no way to verify it's condition. Perhaps someone there will place another cache nearby?

The Tinaroo Falls Dam was started in 1953 and the offical turning on the water from the dam was on 3rd October 1959. The catchment area is about 545 square kilometres and Tinaroo has an annual rainfall of 1,300 millimetres.Be sure to bring your sunscreen and swimming suit between the rain storms.The original cache contained the following:1 log book and pen.2 Gecko pencils9 shell necklaces1 Gecko key chainWhen finished with your hunt and on your way back out,look around if you are hungry, I'm sure you can find some Dam...! good food.
