De route voert onder andere door 2 bossen die beheerd worden door Natuurmonumenten. De hele route loopt over paden (waarvan sommige smal en smaller) en verharde wegen, die, behalve bij de cache, nooit verlaten hoeven te worden. Loop ook niet dwars over velden, tenzij het duidelijk is dat hier een pad door loopt. De totale lengte van de route is ongeveer 7 kilometer (inclusief teruglopen naar het startpunt).
De auto kan geparkeerd worden op bovenstaande coördinaten. De parkeerplaats ligt aan een eenrichtingsstraat en kan bereikt worden via:

Tel hier het aantal verticale zwarte staven die aan 1 zijkant van de brug zitten. Dit aantal is A:

Op weg naar WP2 kom je na een tijdje weer bij de bosrand, welke 2 kleuren zijn er op het eerste kleine paaltje dat je bij de bosrand tegenkomt? Tel de letters van de kleuren bij elkaar op als A=1, B=2 etc).

WP3: Vanaf de ingang van het paadje, bij het veld, ga je: (2 * D + 26) meter in de richting van 185° (ware noorden).
Vlakbij WP3 (in de buurt), staan paaltjes met ruiterroutes (knooppunten) van ‘Landschapspark de Graven’. Hoeveel bomen staan afgebeeld op de 2 bordjes samen?

Onderweg naar WP5, zie je een blauw plaatsnaambord. Tel het aantal letters van de plaatsnaam, dit is G.
Vlak bij WP5 staat rechts (of links, bordje lijkt te verplaatsen soms) van de weg een paaltje met een rood bordje. Tel van de bovenste rij cijfers de unieke cijfers bij elkaar op. Dit =H
Je kunt nu kiezen, of rechtstreeks naar WP7 (erg steil), of via WP6.
WP6: N50°57.0(1 + F)' E5°51.(20 * H)'
WP7: N50°5E.(G * H + 628)' E5°51.(370 + G)'
Bij WP7 staan een aantal paaltjes (vlak langs het pad, tussen de struiken tegenwoordig) met een ‘HA-waarde’. Pak de som van de cijfers van het nummer van het paaltje met de hoogste HA-waarde (dus niet de HA waarde zelf), dit is I.
WP8: N50°5E.(H + I + 794)' E5°51.(4 * I + 10)'
Intussen loop je al een tijdje op het pelgrimspad naar Santiago de Compostella. Als Santiago op de coördinaten: N42°52.603', W8°32.649' ligt, hoeveel kilometer is het dan vanaf het paaltje met het ruiterroute bordje van het pelgrimspad naar Santiago de Compostella? Neem de eerste 2 cijfers van de afstand, dit is J.
WP9: N50°5E.(J * I + 529)' E5°50.(1013 - F)'
Hier staan een blauw en een geel paaltje. Boven op het gele paaltje staan drie letters. Wat is de som van de letters als A=1, B=2 etc. Dit = K. Onderweg naar WP10 kun je het beste het laagste pad nemen. Hier is ook een mountainbike parcours. Je kunt over het heuveltje erlangs lopen of over het pad nog een stukje lager.
WP10: N50°5E.(K * C + 820)' E5°50.(H * K - 101 )'
Onderweg naar WP10, er vlak bij, zie je een klein paaltje (KB (kathodische bescherming) Meetpunt), hier staat een getal van 4 cijfers op. Tel deze bij elkaar en tel er 107 bij op. Dit is L
WP11: N50°5E.(7 * L + 73)' E5°50.(512 + L)'
Het paaltje is al langer weg, M=5
Zo, en nu op naar de cache. In de cache vind je ook de coördinaten die de kortste route terug naar de parkeerplaats aangeven. Schrijf ze svp over en laat het origineel in de cache.
WP12, de cache: N50°5(E + 1).0(K – J - E)' E5°50.(M * L + 1)', niet meer dan zo’n 3 meter van het pad. De cache is niet begraven, je hoeft dus niet te graven. Kijk eerst goed, en zorg dat je geen nieuw pad creeërt.

You will walk mostly through 2 forests owned by Natuurmonumenten. The complete track is on paths (some of which small and even smaller) and paved roads. You never have to leave the path except to get the cache. Also don’t walk through the fields, unless it is obvious there is a path going through the field. The total length is about 7 kilometers (including the walk back to the starting point).

Walking towards WP2 (taking the direct route) , you will walk through a field. When entering the path next to the forest, you’ll see a small pole with 2 colors. Which 2 colors are on the first little pole you pass. The sum of the characters of the colors is D. (A=1, B=2 etc). When using the English names for the colors, add 35 to D.
WP3: Starting from the entrance of the small path at the field, go: (2 * D + 26) meters in the direction: 185° (true north).
Nearby WP3, you’ll see some small poles with a shield with ‘Landschapspark de Graven’ on them (ruiterpad). How many trees are there on 2 of the shields together? This is E:

On your way to WP5, you see a blue board indicating the name of a village. Count the number of characters in the upper name, this is G.
Close to WP5 you see a little concrete pole with a red shield mounted. Compute the sum of the unique digits of the upper row of digits. This is H.
Now you have a choice, straight to WP7 (very steap) or via WP6.

Close to WP7, very close to the path (in the bushes nowadays), you find some little poles with an ‘HA-value’. Take the sum of the digits of the number of the pole with the highest HA-value. Not the HA value itself. This is I.

In the mean time you are walking on the pelgrimstrail to Santiago de Compostella. Assuming Santiago has the coordinates: N42°52.603', W8°32.649' (Take care, West instead of East!) , how many kilometers is it from the pole with the ‘Ruiterroute’ mark on it to Santiago? Take the first 2 digits of the distance, this is J.
WP9: N50°5E.(J * I + 529)' E5°50.(1013 - F)'
Look for the blue and yellow pole. On top of the yellow pole you see 3 characters. Take sum the sum of the characters, if A=1, B=2. This is K. On your way to WP10, you best take the lower path. There is a mountainbike trail, you can walk on the little hill beside the trail or take the even lower path.

On your way to WP10, very close to WP20, you see a little pole (KB (kathodische bescherming) Meetpunt). On this pole a 4 digit number is visible. Calculate the sum and add 107. This is L.

The pole is longer gone now. M=5
Now, on to the cache. Inside the cache, you also find the coordinates for the shortest way back to the parkingplace. Please write them down and leave the original in he cache.
WP12, the cache: N50°5(E + 1).0(K – J - E)' E5°50.(M * L + 1)', no more than about 3 meters from the path. The cache is not burried, so no need to dig. First look around carefully. Make sure you don't create a new path.
