This cache is located in woodland below Barden Tower, and on the banks of the River Wharfe. This location is on land owned and managed by the Bolton Abbey Estate, who have kindly given permission for the location of this cache. In giving this permission, they made the following comments:
The Estate does not accept responsibility for the cache or its contents. Any person carrying out this past time does so at their own risk, as does anyone placing the cache in its hiding position. Anyone carrying out this past time must abide by the rules set out by the Geocaching Association of Great Britain and the Countryside Code in general.
The cache is located a short distance from a very popular footpath, so please ensure that the box is well hidden afterwards.
