Step back into the ancient past with you visit to another of Ohio's
Hidden Gems: Kent/Cooperrider Bog State Nature Preserve.
Located just west of S.R. 43 off of Meloy Road, you will find
the trailhead for your visit.
Please remain on the boardwalk at all times, as this is a
delicate and protected ecosystem. Follow the boardwalk clockwise
until you reach the coordinates listed above. At these coordinates,
you will find a sign describing one of the prominent features of
Kent Bog -- you will need to e-mail me the
Latin name of this feature to claim credit for the
find.
