This cache is located on Mt. Sanford which provides some
spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. There is a small
parking area at the trailhead and can be found on Rt 42 near
N41°28.046 W072°57.046. I say 'near' because satellite reception
was quite poor in this area, but don't worry, it is significantly
better when you get near the cache.
This is a basic cache in an ammo box located off the blue trail.
The cache contains some cool geoswag plus a FTF prize. Be sure to
check out the impressive views while you're there. There is a
benchmark located along the trail as well. Please be advised that
no biking is permitted in the area. Snow cover would most certainly
add stars to both the terrain and and difficulty for this cache.
