This is a tale about a man named Mr. Parker. It’s about how he built a small fortune that he never got to spend. Mr. parker lived between the towns of Monroe and Chester NY. He worked for the local iron mills and transported the slag from the iron furnace to a dump in the area where he lived. He had done this every day for almost all of his life. He was a lonely and a mean man who had no family and no friends. His house was very small and lived in one of 4 houses along the old road that which he traveled every day carrying his load to the dump. he kept to himself and never spent his money that he made. He just kept putting it away.
Well when he became an old man, he didn't want anyone to get his fortune that he worked so long and hard for. So he decided that he would hide it somewhere in the mountains. And so that is what he did. Soon after hidng his fortune, he passed on.
After his death some locals started going through his house in search of the fortune that he had built. They knew he had this fortune somewhere because they never saw him go anywhere to spend it. But they found nothing. And they searched for years afterwards and still came up with nothing. Many years have since gone by and soon every one stopped trying to find it and it was forgotten about. Legend has it that the money is still out there and can be found in the one place that Mr. Parker loved to go to sit and relax after a hard days work. It is your job to find it and prove that the legend is true.
The cache container is a large ammo box that contians Mr. Parkers Fortune and a log book to sign. Good Luck!
