Playa Del Rey View cache is a micro cache about the size and
shape of a 35mm film canister. Not much room for trades with sawed
off pencil and log scroll inside. Please replace the cache so it
can not be seen by muggles.
There is a GREAT view of Playa Del Rey and Marina Del Rey
from this location. Grab the cache as you enjoy the view!
Do NOT climb over the railing. Cache can be grabbed from
the sidewalk. Try NOT to attract the attention of the
neighbors behind you or this cache might not last long. Warning,
the hint is a spoiler so that you won't have to attract attention
wandering around with your GPS.
Our story begins in a Village where the Gabrielino Indians once
lived in the year of 1750. Now known as Playa del Rey, "The Last
Stop Before The Pacific". You could say we are the center of some
of the best beaches on the Pacific Coast. To our south we have El
Porto, Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo, Torrance, and Palos Verdes. To
our north Marina del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica and the Malibu
Beaches.
Our community is a friendly Town surrounded by Wet Lands and the
Pacific Ocean. You can walk to the pedestrian bridge that connects
us to our sister city, "Marina del Rey" one of the greatest
harbor’s on the Pacific Ocean and view the boats coming and going
out of the harbor, or walk along the bike path that hugs the sand
and the sea. You'll see bikers, skaters, joggers and sun bathers
enjoying the ocean breeze. If your timing is right, a volleyball
tournament may be in progress. Let 's not forget the surf, when it
breaks, its an awsome bonus to your experience.
