This cache is part virtual, part puzzle, and part traditional with 2 cache containers. At the first stop, you will pick up the instructions that you need to complete the cache. They are located in a small container which is easily found.
The second portion of the cache is the driving/walking/virtual part of the cache. There are 11 locations located throughout Spokane County that you will have to physically walk or drive by to obtain the correct information. You're definitely going to want to do it in the daylight. While some sites are okay to drive by, some are better reached by parking and walking to obtain the information. Please use care when viewing the locations. Some additional research may be needed via internet or other sources.
All needed information is available from the sidewalks and/or streets. There is no need to go on private property (with exception of the initial location). Most of the residents know about the history of the buildings--but some may not--and may not want to!
After you have all the information you need to solve the puzzle, use the leters you have to get the last few digits of the cache location. Using A=0, translate the leters into number form and place the numbers in the correct location in the longitude and lattitude.
I promise if you get through the goofy part of the cache, the final is well worth it. It is located in a rural area, that has a lot of historical significance. This is one of those "don't blink or you'll miss it" sort of places, but I think you will enjoy the history. If you are interested in learning more about the location, or would like some interesting reading (web sites) please let me know. I ended up talking with a 71-year-old woman who has made quite a name for herself obtaining the history of these places. I will refer you to her website as well.
The cache container for now contains some seasonal Halloween items. The first 12 finders could find a very unusual, one of a kind, souvenir.
