Geocache Description:

The Spawner cache has had a fulfilling but rough life. Although it has produced other generations of caches, the recent onslought of tropical storms has rendered its old home useless. So Spawner has packed up what it had left and moved upstream to a very comfortable place. Wanting to live out the rest of its days in relative peace.

The Spawner cache has moved into retirement near the area where a spawner cache may have been born. It is located among a maze of old canals, drainage ditches and lots of brush and jaggers! There may also be some poison ivy around too! Spawner is much more elusive than when it was producing fingerling caches, but still likes visitors from time to time as long as they don't make too much of a nuisence of themselves.Spawner likes his new home because he is surrounded by lots of his old friends. Turtles, Frogs and Salamanders often visit here in the spring to make their new generations. Ducks and Geese nest nearby. Spawner's "finned" friends are always around for company and occasionally a deer or bear will stop by for a visit. If you come to visit, keep in mind not to follow Mr. Crow's path near the end of your journey. Find the old trails leading all around the area...they will lead to Spawner's door. The area is brushy and full of jagger bushes. You may also get a wet foot so be ready for it! And don't forget to tell Spawner that Salvelinus sent ya!
