"KEEP THE GATE CLOSED"! This cache was muggled. We replaced it around dusk on 01/03/06 in a slightly different location and updated the coordinates on this page. Please be careful to keep the cache concealed when you replace it. ***05/04/08...Muggled again...We replaced the container in the same location...Please, Please be very careful to re-hide this one when you replace it and remember...NO FOOD Items!
Traveling I-15 north from Las Vegas, take the Littlefield/Beaver Dam exit and travel north on Old highway 91 which will take you into St. George, Utah without passing through the Virgin River Gorge. The cache is located on level terrain at an altitude of 4,016 feet. This cache was placed in the hope that more people would take the "Road Less Traveled". There is so much to see when we hop off the Interstate, slow down and take the time to see the countryside. There was a nice herd of Mule Deer watering at the 'bathtub' when we arrived...check out the photo!
