Geocache Description:

Downgraded the terrain difficulty of this one....when I first placed this one 11 years ago, there were not really any trails in the park, so ostensibly getting to the cache was one long bushwhack, clearly this is no longer the case. :-) Within the confines of the Lewis G. Larus nature preserve. Depending on the route you take this area is one of the more beautiful urban wilderness areas in Richmond.

There are MANY points of entry into the park as it turns out...(the park covers QUITE a bit of territory (95 acres)as a matter of fact.

One possible parking spot is at 37 32.848 077 33.898 This is the parking lot for an office, but of the three times I have parked there to enter the park there has always been ample parking. The park borders this lot and there are no signs prohibiting entry to the park from this spot.

There is NO PARKING along the main road closest to the cache, it would be an EXTREMELY bad idea to attempt to find the cache by parking here!!!!!
