While moving my wife from one state to another we came up with the
idea for this cache.
The trip started early Thursday morning, 4 am to be exact. I got
on the plane and the next thing you know the pilot says we are over
the beehive state. I grab my camera and take 5 pictures from 28,821
feet. After making 1 plane change, I finally arrive at my
destination 22 hours later. I ask DW Tigger when her mom is
expecting us in the keystone state. She tells me early Monday
morning around 3 am. I tell her great that gives us time to change
our route home so we can see Mt. Rushmore. After a short trip to
visit her dad we load up the U-haul and head north. I tell you
what, driving the east coast is a whole lot different than the west
coast. For example, I wanted the exit to the bay and nobody was
nice enough to let me merge over. We ended up heading towards the
treasure. After getting turned around and back on the freeway I was
sure glad to be out of the heart of Dixie. 8 hours and 1 cache
later we made it to her mom’s. At her mom’s house she
wanted to give me the tour. After I saw 3 floors and the garden, I
was more lost there than on the freeway system. We spent 8 days
with her mom and then headed out to the last frontier, but not
before I backed the U-haul into the pine tree. OOPS!!!! Sorry
mom.
You will know the spot, if you have the right coordinates. Stand
at the bottom of the sunshine and walk towards the wolverine for
about 265 feet. There you will find the cache.
