An urban cache tucked away in a very urban area.
This cache is in a small memorial garden in the heart of the University District. The location is neither geographically or historically interesting, its just a small patch of green in a busy area.
Discretion is needed here because its rather busy, lots of pedestrians, people lengthening their lifespans (the gym is now closed), grocery shoppers and folks waiting for the bus. On weekends an off-duty cop directs traffic here. This cache would be a good evening find too.
Unlike other caches, this one isnt tucked into a bush, buried by twigs or leaves or under rocks. While scouting out this location, we had five satellites, so please post any variations to the coordinates.
The cache is in an 6.5" green cylinder-a bit thicker than an empty paper towel tube. Geocachers of compact distinction beware.
Smart and iPhone users: be careful logging your find so it does not appear as two finds. I will delete duplicate finds as they throw off total numbers for the cache and for you.
