THIS IS A VERY EASY PUZZLE. TO SOLVE IT, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS READ THE PHILOSPHY BEHIND WHAT USED TO BE RULES FOR THIS CACHE. This is easiest done at home by using the search function on your computer. THE TB ASPECT OF THIS CACHE HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THE TRAVEL BUG REST STOP AND TRANSFER STATION NEARBY.
Note: The given coordinates will place you in the middle of a small lake.
This is a grand experiment, based on similar caches I have visited in other parts of the country. It is intended for you to use as well as to find. The ultimate goal USED TO BE TB TRANSFER.
The cache USED TO HAVE four main purposes AS FOLLOWS (for now you just have to figure the coordinates and go find it):
A. TRAVEL BUG PAMPERING – this is a rest stop for bugs. There are forms for you to fill out about bugs you drop off so that the next cachers will know the goal of the bug and if they can help that bug on its travels.
Fill out a form with the bug’s name, goal, and any other information you feel will be helpful. Then put it in one of the zip-lock bags also found in the container if it doesn’t already have one. (Let me know if supplies are running short.)
RULES? Well, of course…
1. If a TB has a goal that involves leaving the South Sound area, take it ONLY if you can get it a good 20 miles or so on its way. Please do not park that hopeful bug in another local cache ad infinitum.
2. Be sure you move each bug in the direction it truly wants to go. If you can’t do this, it is better to leave it where it is.
3. DO NOT pick up a bug simply to use it as a trade item, either in a bug hotel or elsewhere. TBs were never intended to be trade items.
* * * FROM MY SOAPBOX * * *
Bugs should move freely and not be forced to spend time in a cache because of the cache owner’s requirements. TB owners release bugs with the idea that they can move freely and frequently toward their goals. Therefore I do not have the right to say that a bug can’t be moved because there are not enough bugs in my cache. You are welcome to state your opinion in your log.
4. SO – NO minimum requirements for bugs in this cache. Sometimes there will be none – check before your visit if TBs are your purpose.
5. No bug may be moved from this cache to a TB Hotel/Vault/Trap.
6. If at any time you see a bug in this cache that you can help, please revisit the cache and pick it up, even if it is the last bug in the cache.
7. If you have a bug to release, feel free to start/continue its journey at this site.
8. If for some reason you are trying to increase the number of TBs on your record, just pick them up and immediately drop them back off in this cache – while that may be an unusual thing to do, it beats moving a bug in the wrong direction.
B. DROP-OFF/PICK-UP POINT - for messages and items for other cachers – if you can’t quite get far enough north or south to deliver something, and can’t arrange a meeting time with another cacher, leave it here, mark it well, and let the other person know it is waiting for them.
C. VIRTUAL TB EXCHANGES – if you are trading bugs with another cacher and want them to be credited with a stop/cache in South Sound, use this site to do a virtual drop off and pick up. Or just use it anytime it is preferable to “grabbing” a bug.
D. CELEBRATION – if you have a reason to use this cache for something or someone special, let me know and I will change the name temporarily for you. For example, want to surprise someone for his or her birthday? I will change the cache name to Happy Birthday, Jane (or whatever their name is) for a few days and you can place surprises in the container in advance.
The important thing to remember – this cache is designed for all cachers to use as well as find.

Now that you have read and digested all of the above information, here’s what you need to know about finding the cache.
Finding the cache: Parking spaces are found at N 47º 02.677 W 122º 48.510, about 0.2 mile from the cache. I usually park at the gate (about 150’ from the cache) at N 47º 02.688 W 122º 48.680. You will have to walk on some grass, but not into the salal. You can reach it from the edge of the salal.
- A few small trade items are included.

Finally – how to solve the puzzle? It’s a give-away. Final coordinates are:
N 47º 02.ABC W 122º 48.DEF.
____ = A = # of the rule that includes the word “journey”
____ = B = the minimum number of TBs required in this cache.
____ = C = sum of # of rule containing the word “revisit” + # of rule containing the word “better”
____ = D = sum of # of rule containing the word “simply” + # of rule containing the word “minimum”
____ = E = # of TBs that are to move from this cache to a bug hotel/vault
____ = F = # of the rule that includes the word “unusual”
