The container is a WWII German Army butter dish. It is constructed of heavy aluminum, has a rubber seal in the lid, and is about the size and shape of a household smoke detector.
I think this cache may produce a few "purple frownies", although it is not buried under anything, and you won't have to climb anything to find it, and, it is visible to the naked eye (if you know where to look!).
These trails are a real delight. Bicycles and dogs are welcome here and the gently sloping terrain, huge old White Oaks, and native savanna grasses offer a natural but almost park-like atmosphere for excercise or strolling.
"In the Black" follows "In the Red" by: PacRats (A GOOD PLACE TO PARK AND START) and similarly, the name is a clue in itself. As always, please be careful with the cache and it's surroundings...leave it the way you found it.
