This cache takes you on a short walk on the Windsor River Trails.
This is our first cache so please let us know what you think of the ratings or if you had any trouble with the coordinates as we had to use an average.
We found this to be a nice place to walk especially in the fall. Leashed dogs are okay and please keep them on the leash. The parking coordinates are: N41.51.305 W072.38.408, the above coordinates will lead you to the first of three parts.
Due to unforeseen circumstances one of the coordinates needed to be changed slightly you will see how when you find them.
This cache started out with Hartford Wolfpack shirt, rally towel, and magnetic schedule along with a Where's George dollar, flashlight with batteries. It also consists of a Jeep travel bug and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle travel bug.
We have actually have two different first to find prizes and ask the FTF cacher to pick which one they would like. The first is a gas card and the second is two tickets to a Hartford Wolfpack game. If you would like the tickets to see the Wolfpack please email us and we will arrange to get the tickets to you as they have not come in yet. The tickets will be for Sat. Nov. 13th against the Providence Bruins.
Please note that the final location is on the north side of the brook. There is no need to go over the enbankment into the river. Hints will be provided if there proves to be a need for them.
This cache is going to be a lot more difficult in the snow so we ask that you please be extra careful.
