One of the few public roads to the coast reaches within a kilometer of the cache. The easiest access from the carpark at the end of this road is along the beach but you can walk along the higher ground especially if the tide is in.This is not accessible by vehicle.
The cache contains a log book and biro, the latest Phantom comic,and trinkets for a range of ages. It is a tupperware container wrapped in a wheat bag, and because of its size is partly concealed from casual view, but easily spotted if you are looking for it. This is one of a series of caches being established along this coast, including a future multi-cache. My wife and I walk these beaches regularly, shell collecting, beachcombing, and removing the increasing detrius from some commercial and recreational users. Overall, this is an isolated and beautiful area of coast.
