Geocache Description:

This cache is the first step for the Rainbow Dragon's Treasure series. You may hunt this cache as a stand-alone cache or as the prerequisite to the series. If you choose to continue with the series, you must find this cache first.

This is a Letterbox Hybrid cache. If you are not familiar with Letterbox Hybrid caches, please read the notes below!

How many letters are in the colorful word above? ______
The coordinates posted are to a fork in a paved walkway near a playground. Go to the posted location and follow these directions:

  • Multiply the number above by 6 and walk that many paces (You count one pace each time your right foot hits the ground) at a bearing of 310 degrees.
  • Next multiply the original number by 3 and walk that many paces at a bearing of 330 degrees.
  • Finally, using the original number, walk that many paces at a bearing of 50 degrees. Here you will find the answers you seek.

About Letterbox Hybrids  
This is a LETTERBOX HYBRID geocache. Letterboxing is a precursor of geocaching, using compass bearings or other clues to lead the seeker to the letterbox. The cache contains a logbook and a stamp. If you wish, you may stamp your personal journal with the rubber stamp in the letterbox (cache); then you may stamp the logbook with your personal stamp if you have one - if you don't have a stamp, just sign the logbook. But, please be sure to leave the stamp, logbook, and inkpad in the container.

Rainbow Dragon Treasure Series
You must first complete the Rainbow Dragon's Treasure - Prerequisite (GCKZ6Z) to obtain the starting coordinates and information you will need to complete the Fighter's Quest, Thief's Quest, and Wizard's Quest.
Each of these quests will provide you with a clue to the Rainbow Dragon's Treasure - Final Reward (GCKZ88). Although you must have all three clues to begin the Final Reward, you may complete these three quests in any order:
