Even as a young girl in the late 1800s Lillian had a strong curiosity. So when she heard that her home of Dark Island had a secret she just had to find out what it was. She spent her days searching in the dark recesses of the local archives until she found what she was looking for. And what she found spooked even her. There was a secret alright, something so dark that the last two people that knew it vowed to never let it be revealed. To this end they hid all clues away in a secret location and took the keys to that location to their graves. Lillian continued to dig until she found for the location of their separate keys. Armed with this knowledge Lillian was able to locate their hidden cache. With her curiosity satisfied Lillian decided that she too must keep the secret, so she took the locations of the keys and the names of the two who held them to her grave. For nearly one hundred years the secret has remained hidden.
Dark Island is naught but a memory now. A lone spot in the busy road of life. But it still holds the key to deciphering the location of its secret cache. But the two parts of this location are located in a place that only Lillian knows. If you too would like to find this cache you must first visit Dark Island at the coordinates above. Once you find the key hidden there, copy it exactly as it appears. Then go visit Lillian at 45 35.142 x 122 40.692, here you can find the location of the two parts of the actual cache location. Once you find these two parts and decipher them you can locate the cache itself.

Parking at the start location is on the street not far away. I suggest you leave the kids in the car and not search Dark Island in a large group, it is a small place. At the final location there is a small parking strip with room for only a few cars, but it is unlikely there will be others around. Kids are ok here, but may be a bit spooked.
