De cache zit verstopt op N 51° 03.ABC – E 003° 43.DEF, waarbij de letters A tot en met F onderweg moeten gevonden worden. Getallen moeten steeds herleid worden tot één cijfer door de cijfers van dat getal op te tellen, tot je uiteindelijk één cijfer bekomt.
(vb. 1428 => 1+4+2+8 = 15 => 1+5 = 6)

Start bij WP1. Onze goede vriend Jacob wijst de richting waarin de speurtocht moet gestart worden. Dat er onder zijn voeten een parkeergarage voor 648 wagens zit, is mooi meegenomen.
Bij WP2 vind je de oudste reclameboodschap, aanwezig in het Gentse straatbeeld. "Toeback en snuyf is nu gemeyn, in den Gaudboom is ’t magasyn. Wilt gy daer van wesen gedient, komt maer binnen lieven vrient." Welk jaartal draagt deze gevel?
Ga verder naar WP3. In de 17de en bij de aanvang van de 18e eeuw inden de stadsambtenaren hier de taksen op het graan. Met zijn geveltje van slechts twee traveeën en twee bouwlagen is het Tolhuisje veruit het kleinste gebouw van de rij. In welk jaar werd het hersteld?
Bij WP4 sta je aan een parkje. In welk jaar werd het opengesteld?
Ga verder naar WP5. Hier zie je een beeldje, dat een tafereel van huisvlijt oproept. Wat is het huisnummer van de woning waarbij het sculptuur hoort?
WP6 ligt aan de enige bewaarde toegangspoort tot het voormalige Prinsenhof, waar ooit de wieg stond van keizer Karel V. Hoeveel mensen werden tussen 1530 en 1555 in Gent "wegens protestantisme" terechtgesteld?
Steek de brug over en ga verder naar WP7. In welk jaar werd dit voormalig gildenhuis en schuttershof van de Sint-Antoniusgilde gebouwd?
Op de weg naar WP8 zoomt een sierlijke rij treurwilgen de oever van de Lieve af. Hoeveel treurwilgen tel je?
Ga verder naar WP9. Toen de paters Karmelieten hier in 1658 hun infirmerie bouwden, moesten ze een toegang vrijlaten naar de achterliggende Plotersgracht. Een blauw poortje sluit die overwelfde ruimte af die haar naam gaf aan de ganse omliggende wijk. Uit hoeveel verticale planken van ± 15 cm breed bestaat elke vleugel van dat blauwe poortje?
Neem de kortste weg naar WP1, waar je gestart bent. De 25 horecagelegenheden op de Vrijdagmarkt geven je ruimschoots de kans om een oprukkende honger of dorst de kop in te drukken alvorens koers te zetten naar de cache.

On the way to WP8 an elegant file of weeping trees lines the bank.

Go further to WP9. When the fathers Carmelites built here their infirmerie, in 1658, they had to release an access to the canal lying behind. The vaulted space behind the small blue double door gave its name to the entire neighbouring district ("Patershol").
