Come join us for a little Celebration clean-up! Saturday, April 16th, 2005, 12 noon to 4 p.m., rain or shine!Because you never know what or who you will find at a geocache or geocache event, come prepared to get your socks knocked off (and find underwear in the trees!)
It's That Time Again ..... Can we out-do last year's 22 plus bags of litter??Working with City of Federal Way Parks Department for this THIRD Annual CITO event!!Are you ready?!?! Come as you are and be on time, we're set to clean-up this Federal Way jewel. If you have a pair of work gloves, you're encouraged to bring them! Otherwise, we will supply latex gloves (hopefully One Size Fits All!) Standard refuse bags as well as CITO event refuse bags (first 50)will also be provided. Prizes for: Weirdest Item Found, Celebration: Elimination and What's Your Number. Fun for everyone - all ages. Bring a sack lunch and something to add to a geocache that will be put together and given by name drawing to CITO event attendee for placement (Come on, KiteLady!)I know I said CITO would be moving to a new location, but this park seems to need help yearly! A recent roll-through and signs of new and embedded garbage all about. Picked up what we could (10/2/04) and by April everything will be ripe and ready for another overhaul.
Event lasts as long as you want it to! We will do the clean-up first, followed by "prizes", build-a-cache, brown bag lunch and stories!
