12 Jan 2008 - This cache was adopted by Swampy. I have left the description and listing exactly as Aloysius had it at adoption time.
The sign post at the top of the walk indicates 10 minutes to the falls. The 30 minutes that Aloysius mentions is to walk down, look at the falls for a while and read the interpretation panels and return to the car park.
The viewing platform at the end of the track has been upgraded and some cleaning up has occurred. The cache is now a large bison tube.
As I wish everyone to find this cache without having to decrypt the hint, I have included it in the description.
Leave the platform. About 3m past the end of the platform is a tree leaning over at 45 degrees, on the right side of the track. Stand under the tree, facing along the trunk. Walk towards the big rock, head right to behind the rock and stop behind.
The cache is hidden in a large crack and another smaller rock placed in front of the cache. The cache is a large fist sized bison tube. Please make sure the rock is placed back to cover the cache.
