This cache is at the brand new Duck Lake Pines Park off of Duck
Lake Road. This park has everything, except for a cache! (Up until
now!) It has a roller blade rink, tennis courts, a play set for
kids, basketball courts, volleyball courts, baseball diamonds, a
clean restroom, drinking fountains, picnic tables and even vending
machines! This is where Sketcher does his roller hockey. The park
hours are 6:30am till 9:30 PM May through Oct. Then 8am to 8pm the
rest of the year. NO HUNTING!(Except for caches!)
Too find this cache , you must go to the virtuals on the paved
hiking path. Write down the plant and tree names. Add the letter
values. A is 1, B is 2, C is 3, and so on. The first virtual has 14
letters, the second has 19, the third has 15. Then answer this
question: How many tennis courts are there in this great park? Add
the letters of this answer in the sum too. Multiply the grand total
by five (This makes any errors, 5 times as bad!) and then add to
both the N and W cords (ignore the decimal points) (add to the last
four digits) to get to the final ammo box. The ammo box has a lot
of goodies in it. Including a $5.00 first finders prize in lotto
tickets and a piece of fools gold from Sketcher's rock collection.
(He said it was OK to donate.)
Have fun. Bring a calculator and paper. Easy math but lots of
mistakes are possible. Average is two trips so far. If you are a
hadicacher. Do the paved pathway. Email me the box coords, send me
two extra plants that are not noted above , and take credit for the
cache. Initial Hadicaching rating of: H 21111. (You went farther
than other cachers!) First virtual cords are on the listing above.
I've planted over 100 of these, and this is the first large one
I've seen!
- Second virtual cords are at N 42 39.044 W083 34.725
- Third virtual is at: N 42 39.066 W 083 34.634
- Your answer add to: N 42 35.765 W 083 31.465
- Extra credit: What is the oddest thing along the paved path in
this park? Hint: Rhymes with: Could Fall
email me. What is it for? (I have no idea.)
Watch for very low fencing just off of the trail area when
searching for the cache. I missed it on the way in, and hit it on
the way out.
