The Glass Lady or Lady Behind Glass
The lady in the glass case is a life-sized statue of Grace Galloway who died in 1898 when she was 26 years old. She died of Tuberculosis.
There are many rumours about her...that she died on prom night, and was in her prom dress, or that she died on her wedding day, and was in her wedding dress, or that it was actually Grace enclosed in the case. When you look closely at the statue, you can actually see veins in her hands! People would say that her spirit wanders the cemetery looking for the love of her life on dark foggy nights.All these stories make her an interesting topic of conversation, and this statue is really a beautiful piece of art, not to be missed.
