Geocache Description:

Near the Courthouse in downtown Frederick. There is usually plenty of street parking, but you may wish to use the parking garage. There is a fee for parking in the garage, It's $1.00/hour or part of an hour. More info about this below:

***There is a new system in place to pay for parking... you take the ticket you get upon entry and feed it into an automated machine (near the entrance of the garage) prior to returning to your car, and pay the parking fee. The card is returned and you use it to exit the garage by feeding it to another machine.

When I used the garage to check on the cache recently, I was not charged for the 6 minutes I was there. I did not have to feed the card into the pay machine... I was able to feed it directly into the machine upon my exit.***

Another of the dreaded "hide a key" micros that contain only a log book. To open the container, extend it to its full length, then pinch the inner portion to release it from the outer shell. You will need to provide your own writing implement.
