Geocache Description:

A variation on the standard theme, solve the simple clues to reveal the location of this letterbox hybrid and earn yourself a stamp! (& a new icon on your profile ;-)

The cache is a round trip walk of about 2.3 miles

Letterboxing is similar to geocaching except is uses clues instead of GPS technology to reveal the location of the letterbox. Inside a letterbox is a rubber stamp and the idea is you take a rubber stamp and logbook of your own and then stamp your stamp in the letterbox logbook and stamp the letterbox stamp in your book, thus creating your own collection of stamps.

This hybrid is just that, its part geocache part letterbox. You must solve the simple clues which you will find along the way to obtain the coordinates for the box. Inside you will find a notebook, a post-it note pad and a rubber stamp. The post-it notes are for you to stamp the stamp and peel off the note and keep, the notebook is a logbook. If you have a stamp of your own please stamp it in the notebook along with your log but you are not obliged to leave a stamp with your log. Also included are some standard geocache goodies for you to swap.

As you walk towards the cache you get great views across Windsor and the surrounding area, including this one of the castle
