Regular cache on the edge of the Grand Union Canal
The 3rd cache of the Horsenden Hill hunt is at the bottom of the hill near the Grand Union Canal. The Grand Union Canal leaves the River Thames at Brentford and climbs over fifty locks up into the Chiltern hills. It descends then climbs again to a new summit in Birmingham, 137 miles and 166 locks. Boatmen used to claim to do it in five days but allow well over a week if you want to get any sleep! You don't have to have a barge to find this cache.
The cache is in a black bag hidden out of sight.
For a quick cache we suggest the parking at Paradise Fields (free) near Westway retail park (McDonalds, Boots, Next, WH Smith and other peculiar stores) at 51°32.555'N, 0°20.446'W or if you are more adventurous at 51°32.824'N, 0°19.684'W (and do the other Hill caches)
