Geocache Description:

The site of a mill from years ago. A few information signs to view along a wheelchair accessible trail.

The Mountain Loop Highway is closed between Barlow Pass and Bedal. This cache may be reached from the Verlot side by going through Granite Falls. More rich history along the best highway in Washington. Bet that sounds a bit biased. A spot that I never stopped to explore. Seems I am usually rushing to a trailhead to hike. So many places to go and such a short season. This cache should be available year round. Very typical kind of hiding spot. In a hole of a tree covered with moss. I replaced the container with a small Rubbermaid. The spot is so visible that I covered it completely. Make sure to replace in the same manner so that the hint will apply for the next geocacher.
